Peanut butter and chocolate is my favorite food group, and this chocolate peanut butter milkshake features several combinations within that particular food group all stacked on top of each other. This is the dessert for the cheat day to end all cheat days – a monster milkshake, if you will. In fact, it might take you several sittings to eat this tower of dessert – but I promise its amazingly delicious! So, how to make this monster milkshake?
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER MILKSHAKE
You will need:
- 4 Peanut Butter Frosting Stuffed Chocolate Cookies
- 2 pints Haagen Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream
- 10 oz bag Reeses Pieces – 1 10oz bag
- 10.5 oz bag Reeses Peanut Butter Cups – 1 10.5oz bag
- 2 tablespoons Chocolate Syrup (for drizzle)
- 1 cup Peanut Butter Frosting
- 1 cup Milk
To start, use the peanut butter frosting to create a circle of frosting around the top of your glass. Set them aside.
Then take your two pints of chocolate peanut butter ice cream and scoop them out into a large pitcher. You don’t have to use the Haagen Dazs variety, but honestly its my all time fave when I crave peanut butter ice cream. No one really beats it. The chocolate ice cream is solid, and those peanut butter chunks are over the top amazing. So as I was saying… scoop all two pints into your pitcher. Add one cup of milk. Blend with your immersion mixer (or stick it all in a blender if you prefer.) Pour even amounts into the glasses.
Place one peanut butter frosting stuffed cookie into each glass at an angle.
Then get more frosting and start piling it up on top of the existing frosting until it meets the cookie. Instead of whipped cream, you have peanut butter frosting as your topper. Then add Reeses Pieces and Reese Peanut Butter Cups, liberally. I mean it, pile them on!
Drizzle some chocolate syrup over the top, and voila! You have the most amazing, massive, freakishly towering but oh my god delicious chocolate peanut butter monster milkshake!
